Women’s circles are a powerful way for women to connect, be seen and feel validated. It’s a safe space to get your frustrations and fears off your chest and know that they are not alone. When women gather, magic happens.
I’ve come to love women’s circles so much that I see it as a powerful medicine that I must regularly have in my life. It helps me maintain my sanity as a mother of three. It inspires me, recharges my batteries and the sense of belonging to a group of amazing women feels super empowering.
Katie and I met on Instagram. Through a mutual acquaintance, she came across my profile and invited me to be a part of this nude women’s circle. As a way to learn to accept my own body and heal the shame and issues associated with the naked body, I started doing artistic nude photography. That’s why the idea of offering artistic nude mini sessions right after the women’s circle resonated so much with me. Artistic nude photography is a powerful tool in learning to see yourself as a BODY OF ART.
